Future use of the gallery premises
In June 2011 we announced that we would be ceasing our gallery activities in order to concentrate on our activities in the archive. For the future use of the location we were looking for a non-profit organisation (more Info September 2011).
The decision has now been made: PEOPLE IN NEED will take over the location and transform it into a multi-purpose dynamic open space to support active citizenship. This well-known national and international human rights organisation can look back on a long collaboration with Langhans Gallery on the One World Film Festival project.
We will still remain devoted to photography and expand our activities on the premises of the Langhans Archive.
Please stay in contact with us on this website and we will inform you periodically about our new projects.
Looking forward to starting a new chapter with People in Need in the eventful story of the Langhans House we remain
With kind regards
Zuzana Meisnerova & Rolf Wismer-Meisner
